They are smooth and seam to get great traction in all conditions. They also have a very attractive sidewall when they are clean.

Installed on my Ford Explorer; I chose these tires because they were highly rated by Consumer Reports. As stated in their review they are quiet at highway speed, so far they have good tread ware. They are highly rated for adhesion on wet roads and heavy rain and I have found that to be true.
