Rated for medium pile carpet however it's thinner than the one that wore out in less than a year. Replaced the plastic wheels of my office chair with hard rubber wheels which will hopefully add life to the pad. Only time will tell.

No problems at all ! Big plus - it ships flat so you don't have to wait a week for it to lay flat, like you do with a rolled up one. Also, it is stronger than the ones that Staples sells because it does not have a flexible seam in the middle so it can fold.

The mat came in a full size, flat package (not folded in half like some mats) and fits the space well. It lays flat , smooth and does not move. It doesn't have a beveled edge, but it blends well with the carpet. Very satisfied with the product.

This mat is 1/2 + inch smaller each direction than the one it replaced. It is just as functional however
