Both the art and the poems in this book are just delightful! The compliment each other so well. The poems are silly and funny and quirly and so is all of the art. I also like that the authors is also the illustrator. When that happens, I think there is an even greater connection between the poems...

The poetry is genuinely funny, the art is very stylized and unique. The strange silliness of the subject matter and the humorous and dynamic illustrations are great for introducing children to poetry.
