Because I am such a sleepy head in the morning, I needed something close to cannons firing me awake and boy does this alarm wake me up. It looks nice, does not take up a lot of room - a great buy... Only one drawback (?) it does not have a "snooze" buttom...aw heck you really don't need one do ya...
