This is by far the best bound cake. Texture was spot on. The recipe calls for plenty of butter but that is what makes it good. I am trying the regular next. The cinnamon coffee cake is also very good.

I used the recipe for the sour cream pound cake that is also on the box. It takes two boxes of the mix. I baked it for 55 mins, but next time I'll do just 50 mins. It was good! I'll definitely will make this again. The “sour cream” pound cake recipe doesn't use butter!

I had to try a slice before the glaze because it smelled so good. But when I glazed it, WOW! It leaves a wonderful taste in your mouth after a slice.

This cake is great with or without the icing! I've also made the icing adding a tablespoon or two of cream cheese to a sauce pan using low heat and adding the icing mix with water to it once it started melting. So good!

This was so good!!!! I used milk instead of water ... added a spoonful of sour cream then topped w lemon butter sugar...amazing!
