This has been the best cornbread mix weve tried. Honestly, its the closest youll get to a homemade cornbread. It has a very cake like consistency tho. If thats not how you like corn bread, Id suggest adding cornmeal or mixing with jiffy for more of a grainy taste

My favorite boxed cornbread. A little sweet, good texture. I recommend watching cloae at the end so you can leave it in long enough to get some crunch on the edges - it's delicious. Easy to make.

Bought this to try because our local Walmart was out of Jiffy mix. And I'm SO glad they were! It came out sweet with a light, fluffy texture, and hubby couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I think this is the cornbread mix for our house from now on.
