Very compact. We are watching videos to learn how to use it - it did not come with paper instructions. We have never used a pottery wheel and were looking for a new hobby. Some of the included tools seem way too big for this tiny wheel. Just plug it into a USB port and you're all set.

this is wonderful for anyone just getting into pottery has three different size tables to changes but I only used the largest one includes all the basic tools you need to spin you pottery easy to setup

I make regular sized pottery, but have gotten really interested in making smaller scaled pots. This wheel has worked really well for me so far. Learning how to use a tiny pottery wheel is NOT easy at all, but I've seen improvement just in the few weeks i've had it.
