My 15 year old cat is on medication for hyperthyroidism. Sometimes it is difficult to get him to eat. On those days we mix a little of this in with or put a bit on top of his food and it encourages him to eat.

My cat is a senior now; she still deserves treats. I guess, like people, cats' teeth can start degenerating with age, so this type of treat works great! I wish I could find this in Subscribe & Save.... I just re-ordered.
