This product is amazing for the price! It split all my logs that were mainly about 12" in diameter. I put it to the test and threw on a big 18"...it did seize up as it couldn't handle and was not designed to handle anything that big. I love it though for what I need it for.

Was a little skeptical at first knowing it is an electric splitter, but it is doing an amazing job. Easy to operate and cuts the logs nicely. Very satisfied customer here and in the future, for all my outdoor tools, I will look at Yardmax first.

I have found the machine capable. Some reviews seem to focus on how big a log it can split. I get that. My issue was trying to get things down to smaller pieces for starting a campfire. Love it. Worked great, not too hard to put together. Only item I suggest is slightly more design like a dolly to make it wheel or transport easier but its ok.
