Very durable. I own 2 more at our cottages and they are approximately 15 years old. I just bought this one for another location. Use a natural compost "helper" and no meat, fish or bones and you will have great soil in no time. Keep moist like a sponge and stir regularly.

It's a good size composter. We wanted a second bin to rotate our compost and it will serve that purpose just fine.
