    First western i've read, and i found i really liked it.

    I have to admit that I really like the protagonist, Milo Talon, and that fondness bumped my rating from 3 1/2 to 4 stars. The plot seems to be standard, cattle rustling and range wars, but the twists and turns and interesting characters make this an above average western story.
