I bought one for me and one for my wife. I didn't want backup so I didn't use the very expensive software that came with a short trial offer. I just formated the disk so it would become a second harddrive. I like what it does and am very happy with these 2 units.

This external drive was a gift. I was told it is great for downloading games on Xbox 1, transferring all pics, and movies. It has so much memory, it is the only one he will ever need.

I have Windows 10. The Hard drive was easy to use. Just plug it into the computer and start transferring data. the transfer speed was fast.
