I've had this case for 3 years and it has survived and protected my phone from lots of drops. I recently cracked and broke the Pop Socket, so I ordered a new one. While it doesn't have a screen protector, the edges of the case stick out just enough to take the hit on behalf of the screen :)

I have only had the case for a few weeks and haven't had a major drop but I'm really enjoying the sleekness of this case and the pop socket is quality. I like being able to type directly on my screen instead of through plastic screen cover.
