Quiet enough for sleeping with the unit less than three feet from the bed. This air conditioner is able to keep the bedroom cool as well as cool down the hallway and adjacent bathroom. The energy-saver function is nice to keep the operating cost down.

not a bad ac. low noise. not extremely powerful but does the job. Also, this unit is very small and compatible. 2 speed, low or high fan speeds. low cold, energy saver, or fan only functions. timer for 30 minutes shutdown. thermostat function to desire temp shutoff.

Perfect for an upstairs bedroom where it gets so hot. Love that the fan has a spiraly thing to point in all directions. The foam insulation for the side panels is awesome. Fits snug and looks clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this unit in 2009 for the same price. It's still going strong, but I needed another. The unit has some improvements to the control panel and remote since then and now comes with some nice extra mounting and weatherproofing items. It also now reminds you when it's time to clean the filter...
