This is the perfect size for a toddler! My son is 4 and fits perfectly and still has space to grow! And since it's small he has plenty of space in his actual room to play etc! Love it! This picture is when we first set it up and just unrolled the mattress so it still needed time to rise up.

I had bought my son, another toddler bed that goes on the floor he would not sleep in it when I took, this one is easy to assemble and he loves it and he sleeps in it alone every night it's not too high off the floor. It's high enough for him to think he's a big boy.

My daughter loves this new bed however we did not receive the correct size bolts for the the two smaller pieces of the bed overall we love it
