I love that there is more track for my son to go further and faster. He loves it. He is now 20 months only and he has he struggled with the car falling off the track when he is pushing it up or trying to climb onto in when it is on the top.

For our 3.5 year-old, the expansion set was almost a necessity. We hoped to use the basic setup for a while at first, but we added the extension by the end of the first day. We're so glad we had already bought it.

Expansion edition was for different set up. It would have been more fun but the wrong one was sent. I only gave a 3 star due to not being able to use it with the roller coaster we had.
