They do not leak or soak through. Lavender scent covers any odor. We use these in our garage for one elderly dog and one young pup and have tried all brands of pads. These are the best!

Does not shred or dissolve with normal use. Pup equates the lavender scent with his potty pad. No problems with him going anywhere but the pad, even when moved.
