The surface of this bed is like a bad stainless steel appliance. It keeps fingerprints and always looks greasy. Assembly wasn't terrible, but you have to make sense of it as which direction the parts are supposed to be installed isn't always clear in the instructions. Overall, very cute, sturdy.

Giving four stars because of mislabeled parts, took me longer to put it together but other than that the bed is well built and my son loves it.
