I first purchased this clock back in 2010 for my Navy Deployment. Since it is small, it fit in the corner of my rack. It's not too loud to wake up everyone in the berthing, but it is loud enough to wake you up. When you push the light button on the top, it lights up the screen for about 5 seconds...
