I can barely see the time from the couch; nothing else can be seen unless close to the clock. Should not qualify as a wall clock because a wall clock you should be able to see everything it's meant to show throughout the room and not merely up close as if a desk clock. After being dropped a couple of times, it did seem to hold up to the expectations of durability. Auto-adjusting DST works well, as do temperature and calendar features. However, the clock cannot be viewed from any other angle than straight on. Overall, a good purchase IF placed in direct view.
