This is a refurbished unit that came in a plain box with the remote, batteries and power cord. The overall finish was still very good - I only noted a couple very minor scuffs. Picture quality, clarity, etc. was up to the usual excellent vizio standard.

I purchased the warranty plan just in case. I'm a week in and it plays well without cable hookup and the stations and hockey games that have high Def have very nice colors with a crisp picture.

The screen was broken it had rainbow colors everywhere opened it Christmas Day and was disappointed
