Recently my subpar eMachines computer stopped working, I figured it was the monitor gone bad. I purchased this Dell Optiplex 17" LCD monitor as a replacement/ tester, same results. Turned out the small form factor tower's graphics capabilities were completely destroyed from a move across country....

I have not had such an easy smooth transaction in a long time.....Product was packed absolutely perfect...It was so professional Amazon could learn a lesson from this company....It shipped free and my monitor deal included the Power and VGA Cables....For a used monitor it was in excellent shape.....

I have read a lot of reviews and lot of people have gotten bad ones. but mine came perfect and like brand new. so i just think you have to take a chance. you can always return it to store.

Overall, it is just what I needed for 2nd screen. I didn't read it correctly, so I had to order a HDMI to VGA cord so I could connect to my laptop, but no big deal. For the price of this monitor, its perfect. Similar screen to my laptop, and side by side it makes my work much easier.
