Riveting and difficult to put down. The issues the author raises about redemption and the difficulty of putting oneself at peace after killing make one realize how so many souls have suffered throughout history as a result of our wars.

an interesting memoir about the fight for fallujah. this was most interesting because of the in-depth nature of the commentary and the ways in which his experiences there shaped and changed him.
