Flap is on the INSIDE of door frame so rain water collects. Also, very weak magnet that the SLIGHTEST wind will open flap. Last rain had a HUGE puddle INSIDE on my floor!!! VERY UNHAPPY with this model/manufacturer!!!

The door flap came off. So I fixed it and it came off again. There are tiny screws that are supposed to hold it on. I don't recommend this product. It is not designed well.

This pet door is much more heavy duty than the previous plastic dog door we had installed. The metal will last much longer. It is a little larger than our old door so we had to adjust the size of the opening in the door. Over all it was an easy installation once the opening was adjusted.

I would give this a 5 except for half of the weak fully threaded plastic screws that came with it snapped before fully tightening. If they were perhaps only threaded at the end and solid the rest of the way, it would be better. Bought four threaded metal bolts at my own cost. Snugged up just fine...
