Personally, I think the wood should be coated maybe so it would be harder to get splinters but as long as the kids wear shoes it will be fine. Other than that I have no complaints. My children love it and get so excited to go play outside to play with it. My daughter is 2 and gets great use of it.

We have this in our toddlers playroom and they play on/in it every day! We have a gym mat from ikea under it incase they fall but they are 2.5 and haven't got hurt on it.

Was pretty easy to put together (little over an hour with a drill/screwdriver) and really fun for our 20 month old to crawl through, climb on, and hide in. We are going to seal the wood before leaving outdoors to get more life out of it. It is about 6 inches taller than the red and yellow toddler...
