First of all, there is no bottom. So not for balcony, it needs to be on the ground. Second of all, quite flimsy for the price. And the last thing the poor design requires too much soil. The only good thing is that it looks nice, other than that it is not practical

Similar to other comments, there is no bottom and the way the unit is designed, the pieces slide around quite a bit when trying to move, as they are not fixed to each other. I used chicken wire and landscaping fabric to create a bottom to the various sections, but it required much more work than ...

It looks very nice, but extremely flimsy for the price, expected much better quality. I thought this had a bottom as well so I could put it out on my balcony but it does not.
