These brownies used to be everyone's favorite. I was known for bringing these brownies to any and every event. Now I have to tell all of my adoring brownie followers to stay far, FAR away from Betty Crocker. It's so frustrating. Betty Crocker needs to immediately revert to the original mix!

As others have mentioned, the new recipe is absolutely terrible. Change in water, oil, cook time... I can't even eat these brownies anymore because they're so dry and cakey. They used to be my absolute favorite. Bring back the old mix and recipe please.

When did you dumb down this recipe? I always used two boxes of the original dark chocolate brownie mix in a 9 x 13 pan. It made the most delicious, rich brownies. My new boxes are smaller and each box only calls for 3 tablespoons of water. I'm sorry… But you did a terrible thing here.
