I have a small patio fire pit and this worked perfect. I stacked a few small pieces of wood around it and it was great especially not having to deal with ashes all over the patio

Bought four days ago and returned today. It worked like a charm for the first hour and a half I would say, but as soon as the gel solution got to a little less then half of the can it wouldn't stay lit anymore.

These little alcohol based "paint can" gel fuels do have a good citronella smell and produce a 7" flame, but do not stand up to wind very well. Had to re-light mine several times in moderately mild wind (4-7mph). You'll need a screwdriver or quarter to pop the top off, and a charcoal or lamp ligh...
