I installed this for my kitty. The hardest part is figuring out placement. So I cut out pattern and tapped it to the door. Curiosity kitty showed up to see what's going on. Then it was easy to see how high I needed to place the door. About and inch above the height of her back was perfect.

Only thing wrong is I didn't buy this years ago. No need for cat litter ever again. They come and go as they please. And the love it. We are happy the cats are happy! Win win!

Bought this for my kitties so they can use the litter box in the basement. It's been great. At first they were hesitant to use it, but my boyfriend removed the magnet which helped the door swing with ease. Now my kitties run in and out of the basement with no hesitation.

We replaced our existing cat door with this one and we love it! Wasn't too difficult to install and we love the easy-to-grab lock feature, which lets you choose 4 different options. Our cats seem to like it just fine.
