I think maybe this book looms larger in my mind than it deserves because of overlapping memories from Crowley's Little, Big.

I thought Harrison took way too long to get his point across. I got tired of the long-winded ramblings of the main character. I am not a big fan of Film Noir, and I feel this book was very much a book version of a film noir.
