gas pours out top. Hat the new safety system. Does not work. Want to see the old caps back on. I got one last year and it did not work. My wife bought this one and I will take it back.

I want the old gas caps on the gas cans. It is impossible to pour gas from this locking cap. Always get more gas on my hands and if I do get gas to come out, it trickles so slowly that it's impossible to hold the can up long enough to fill the mower. Will be watching garage sales from now on

even with lead tightly closed in storage position it leaks gas once can is tilted

As usual the US government screws up what actually worked without spilling. Old style gas cans work perfectly with zero spilling. Get the government out of the customer's wallet.

I bought this to have extra gas for my lawn mower. I'm not very happy with the spout. I have already leaked gas all over the lawn mower. It's a little complicated. I wish I would have checked it over before I bought it. A simple cap would have made this a lot better.
