Bought six sets for our Audubon group to use on car field trips -- to report sightings to each other. One field trip included some little kids and they had a great time using the walkie-talkies "copy that." That gave me the idea to buy some as holiday gifts.

it works well and the option to use rechargeable batteries is nice. it was hard for me to figure out how to remove the belt clip, but now I know - it seems obvious. there is a tab you push in towards the radio.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and they are a fantastic value. I strongly recommend them for RV owners to use when parking or maneuvering in close quarters.

These are the clearest sounding, easy-to-use two-way radios I've ever owned. The radios are simple yet have critical features: clear point-to-point communication, weather alert function, and ease of use. As with may radios, this one benefits from alkaline batteries more than the rechargeable ones...

After I figured out how to change the channel this walkie is great! My son is 6 and hangs out at the neighbors house all the time. I send him with a walkie and am able to call him or check on him whenever I want. Its perfectly fits in a pocket or can be clipped to a shirt or jacket. Love it
