Been using Johnson Spoon for well over 35 years and it continues to be my go to bait. Caught my personal best (10lbs) on Lake Kissimmee in my teens. I've just recently started kayak bass fishing and the good ole Johnson Spoon continues to dominate.

I rig this with a split ring and a swivel and throw it on the grass flats. It catches all kinds of fish, but most often its a redfish. Love the weedless feature, even when theres floating grass it does well.
