Picture does not show that there are 6 inch prices that go between poles to get the length. I was expecting that the top was totally inside the bottom. With the coupler the pole separates while using it

The item sent does not match exactly. The locking mechanism shown in the pic is a lever and what was sent is a knob with threads. Still works just not as convenient.

It did not match the picture the picture shows that it's two pieces and it's actually four it's just not right and I really would like to get my money back

The picture makes it look like there are two poles, in reality there is only one pole and another pole extender if you would like to adjust the height. I now need to buy an extra pole for the second boat canvas.

The reviews are mostly correct- the description and pictures are misleading. It is a 4 piece pole with tube connectors if you want the longest length. But they do lock together well and you still have one telescoping section for fine tuning height. It works fine.
