I bought this within the last month to stick wood to glass tile and it stuck to neither. The wood immediately fell off the wall and the tape didn't stick on the tile either.

This is terrible! I just spent a half-hour trying to move the transparent covering on one side. The white paper side comes off easily-but the other side is impossible!! Might as well have put my money in the nearest garbage can.

Works very well on clean, dry surface. REGARDING BACKING: Here's my trick. Pull a mm or 2 of adhesive side of tape (opposite from backing) and stretch it out. The tape stretches but the backing does not. Then edge of backing separates and is easy to remove. The stretched piece of tape can be trim...
