I have a small space under my desk and it didn't heat it at all. The unit itself was not very hot to the touch. Maybe it was a bad unit, but it was returned.

It is really nice not having blowing air around me and I like having a quiet, steady source of heat instead of an on/off, loud heater. It fits nicely under my desk, but it does not put out as much heat as a small heater with a fan.

The only thing I was worried about in purchasing this was it wouldn't be warm enough. But when put under my desk at work, it kept my legs and feet warm, which is all I was looking for! I does seem to get a little hotter the longer it's on... It WILL NOT heat up a whole room. But it is a good litt...
