The ideas in this book are important. But the mixture of interviews, fictionalised transcripts, essays and biography don't work very well together to put the case forward.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is one of my great heores of the 21st Century. It's a shame she's had to cozy up to neo-cons in the United States because the left won't unequivocally support her. I unequivocally support her. This book is a necessary eye-opener.
