The poor lighting is well documented so I won't belabor the obvious. Mine came wired so the remote light bulb button operates the fan and the fan button operates the light! The plus and minus buttons do nothing so the fan operates on high only and the light does not dim

I just tried to replace my light bulbs and the sockets crumbled into pieces. Now I can't use the lights at all! This fan is in excellent condition otherwise so extremely disappointed. Not impressed as this is an expensive fan. Also have to agree with other reviews that the level of light this fan...

I tried to change the light bulbs for the first time and glass globe broke. It is too tight and the glass is fragile. This is not a cheap fan! Now I have to spend another 30 bucks to buy the replacement part. To top it off, they have it on back order.

I replaced the bulbs with 60w led. Still terrible. Wish I could replace the cover to a bigger one to accomodate larger bulbs
