It's NTFS-formatted, which creates problems if you are a mac user. You need to either reformat it to FAT on a PC, or use certain applications that will make it work with mac. I reformatted it on my old PC, and now it works perfectly on my mac.

It was a good price for a 4GB flash drive. I used it as a quick backup for 3 GB of photos that I am organizing and putting onto a DVD. It worked great.

I have a number of flash drives, SD cards, etc. but data on those is a wide open book to everyone. This one however, is the bomb. This unit is useless to anyone but you the password keeper. I got this as a cheap alternative to an external hard drive. I was able to store my music and photo files as well as several other documents. I feel safe now if my computer crashes!
