This was a gift purchased for our two year old grandson. He is very interested in trucks/cars/buses etc. He even at this young age is makung truck noises and he even follows the road design. He loves it.

The mat shows scenes like a farm, woods, and a pond as well as grocery store, school, etc. I like these better than the intensely urban environments on some other car play mats. My son loves this rug. It is small enough to fit easily in his room but big enough to keep him occupied for a little while. He doesn't care for the cars that came with it though (he prefers his own).
