I bought my Liberty HDX-150 to replace a push-button safe. I was concerned with children in the house, that they might play with the lock and open the safe, making a loaded handgun available to them. The fingerprint reading is really fast and easy to add fingerprints.

This safe gives me a secure spot to store my pistol within reach at my bedside. The biometric lock is only set for me and the backup key is a nice bonus in case the battery fails. I have no concerns about someone, adult or child, being able to access my gun when it's locked up.
