This is amazing. I I gilded cabinet pulls with a paintbrush and cardstock with a sponge brush. I will try this in calligraphy as well. This was my first attempt at guiding cardstock and the excess peels as in the photo. I recommend two thin coats.

Surprisingly it looks like it does in the picture. Quite happy with this shade of gold. It's quite a warm gold and it does have a nice metallic sheen.
