This appliance works quickly and does not operate loudly. The water pan is not that large and thus fill quickly and shuts off (in high humidity areas. The spout for emptying the water pan is not designed very well and lends itself to some spilling.

Worked right out of the box. We are getting more that 70 pints or water per day out of the air. This machines give off some heat so don't be surprised. They basically chill the air to get the moisture out and then dump the heat removed, plus the heat generated to cool the air and heat energy ...

it did the job but the unit I received had some internal error and it kept shutting down. called support and they just said to return it. went with a different brand

The auto defrost works great, good electronic reminders to clean filter and dump bucket but it is not quiet even on low.
