This freezer was a bust. The wood casing leaked. The motor stopped shortly after the banana nut ice cream was poured into the canister. I thought oh gee, this is a good one and it froze the ice cream quickly. But no, it wasn't frozen at all. I grabbed the hand crank thinking I could still finish...

Warning...this is JUNK!!! I used mine 2 or 3 times and the motor stripped out. Tried using the hand crank and on the first use it stripped out too! Called the manufacturer and since I no longer had my receipt they would do NOTHING!!

On the second time we used this ice cream maker, the motor stopped working. We had to hand crank it to finish the job. We tried it again on another occasion, and it also stopped soon into the freezing process. I'm very frustrated excuse we paid a lot of money for something that doesn't work.

If I could, I would give a minus 50 for this . It does NOT freeze the ice cream. Kept shutting of after 3-4 minutes DON'T BUY!!!!
