My fingers are crossed that this seed and mulch combo will help grow grass in our active areas. We have every spotty grass and tons of clover have taken over during the Spring. We are planting this and a couple other bags of Pennington and I hope we end up with a plush lawn.

This brand of grass seed has good packaging, easy-to-follow instructions. I am wondering if just raking up the ground is good enough though. I covered mine with a compost mixture so that the seeds wouldn't blow away. The grass is coming up nicely now that we've had a lot of rain.
