I have the plates and larger bowls that match this set also. These are great little bowls for fruit, desserts like sorbet/ice cream, condiments, etc.. They appear to be sturdy. I hand wash them, and I've had them for over a month. I can't say they would stand up if they were put in the dishwasher...
