This is thick and not see-through ribbon. I will definitely being using it in my own hair. I also will be using it on crafts and potentially wrapping gifts. Black is just very versatile and can be used for many things.it is not stretchy so it doesn't really have any give to it.

Double faced satin white ribbon made a nice bow in the size 7/8 last night. I will put bows on a wreath this weekend. I think the double faced ribbon has made some nice bows.

This 7/8 's ribbon is super soft. Would go well with lace and fluffy ribbons for presents. The texture is the same on both sides. It could also be used to edge a quilt.
