We love these bar stools. We put them together (x 4) in under 30 minutes. They seem like they will hold up to the wear and tear of a real home with lots of kids, activities and pets. Our kitchen is relatively transitional in style, and these go very nicely.

It looks pretty good and happy with quality. I forgot to remove the black cap on the rod and therefore height adjustment didn't work initially. The instruction paper does not mention it also.
