For a reasonable price, I wanted something small enough to stow easily in pocket or purse. I wanted a decent optical zoom, with about 8 mps. And I wanted ease of use, which this camera delivers, as it is easier to handle than the last one I owned, which was much the same as this one.

Cannot see the screen to take a picture in full sun, very disapointing.

I've only had camera about 2 weeks - now on first trip to really use it. Great pix so far and easy to use. However, I've had a problem finding another battery -in local stores. And I've not discovered yet if I can shoot black & white without it being in movie mode. But will keep researching book....
