This external hard drive turned out to be the perfect device to store an image of my working computer hard drive. I can boot from it at will. No muss no fuss. I'm using it with an iMac 17". Both are great! Love it.

For a large amount fo storage...very easy to use. Plug and back-up all of your files. Nice unit, quiet, and takes up very little space. I would recommend that this unit be considered by someone with an extensive amount of photos (I do not use for audio).

Easy to install, worked immediately. While it works fine as FAT32, it was simple and easy to reformat to NTFS, also.

I've had this drive for about 3 months now and it's worked fine so far. The USB and Firewire ports work fine, I haven't tested the eSATA port though. Unfortunately, this drive will not work with ProTools, probably due to the fact that Digidesign recommends a firewire drive with the Oxford 911 chi...
